When you want aggressive, chunky metal, you go to Unearth and get a nice, big, thick slice of goodness. Having written enough classics of his own, Rivers Cuomo doesn’t need to cover anyone else’s. But here, he and Weezer give a superb version of this Clash number. Naturally, it’s great. Placebo will kick off their European arena tour tomorrow (October 21) in Dijon, France. The trek will hit the UK on December 8 at Birmingham's LG Arena before rolling into Ireland's Dublin's Olympia Theatre on December 16 and carrying on through to Italy and beyond. To celebrate the band have compiled a FREE download bundle (complete with a printable PDF booklet) featuring exclusive tracks from all of the bands on the tour. Doesn’t mention anything about the stingy bastards who give trick or treaters an apple instead of sweets, mind. Bring Me The Horizon unveil new video

Bring Me The Horizon have posted a video for The Sadness Will Never End. The video was directed by Adam Powell and RSA Films, who produced their videos for The Comedown and Chelsea Smile. Architects frontman Sam Carter makes a guest appearance in the video, which takes its inspiration from the cult Swedish horror film, Let The Right One In. The band kick off their biggest headline tour to date on October 22, beginning with a show at Glasgow Barrowland. For tickets, click here.
