The Download line-up was amazing this year but wouldn't have been complete without them!

To be honest, nobody deserves to get bottled unless they are total twats ala Axl a couple of years ago.

While Elliot Minor are not to everyones taste, you cannot deny that they have talent, and to condemn them for not sounding like other people you like is slightly stupid.

Example: I do not like Bullet For My Valentine, but I'm sure they're talented at what they do and if they're nice people then all the more in their favour.

At the end of the day, Elliot Minor have been popped up by their record label - yes this is because of their own naivety in a way, but it's such a shame because had they not been popped up they would be a lot more liked amongst Download-goers. And by popped up I mean on record...live they are amazing, and those who went just to bottle them will probably have noticed they are better live than you thought ;).

This post is mainly just to prove that not all Elliot Minor fans are girls who can only say "OMG THEY'RE SOOOOOO FIT" - that is not what makes a band good.

Theyre fuckin heavy metal at a fuckin heavy metal festival you twat, im so glad i joined in the bottlin, hope they play main stage next year, more bottles. Plus bullet aint nice people thats why they play download, elliot minor should stick to glastonbury and stay away from metal heads. loads of people will bottle them when they come to sheff so good times, i aint sayin theyre a bad band, i dont like em but come on, at download?!?!

Its ok if there are a couple bottles, but that gig was abit to over the top with it. If you don't like EM then go watch other bands, theres always plenty more to do than waste bottles and cups of beer!!
To be honest they were actually sounding better than i've heard them before live even though they had to dodge the flying objects and even if they arent classed as Heavy metal they shouldn't have been bottled at all and they weren't the only band not metal!

...We don't want them at Glastonbury. One thing I love about Elliot Minor is the fact that they used to go to Minster School. Which, for those of you who don't know, is full of posh twats.
I mean you have to pay for it and everything.
Private Schooling = FAIL. Thus, Elliot Minor = FAIL.

To be honest, I love Elliot Minor. Thier music is unique, not to mention they are so dedicated to both music and fans. I can see how perhaps they may not have been suited to Download, however they in no way deserved to get bottled. I mean, who does? How about those people get up on stage and face the thousands of judging fans? Be open minded. Honestly. Feel free to have an opinion, but don't slate those who are fans. Also just because they are before a band others are waiting for, doesn't make them a target to amuse themselves with. Be respectful. Jeez.

Elliot Minor are amazing!

I think that anyone who goes and bottles ANY band at ANY festival, wether they fit in at that festival or not, and then goes boasting about how they 'hit the drummer' or what ever are just...urgh, cant even begin to describe how much it just pees me off. They got up there to perform, if you dont like them, dont watch them, to say you were waiting for the next band is no excuse, even if you are waiting but dont like them it doesnt give you an excuse to throw anything at them. To get up and perform alone takes guts, never mind with some idiots throwing stuff at you just because they dont appreciate your music. I seriously dought any of the people bottling them would like to stand up on that stage and perform to loads of people whilst having stuff lobbed at you. Over all its not fair on any band to have that happen, and its not fair on their fans either to be there enjoying themselves and have idiots throwing stuff at their favourite band. Wtf is the point in it any way? Trying to get a response from them or something?!
Meehh, i really dont know but tbh, whatever the band and where ever they are they dont deserve that because of the music they play or the guys they are.

Elliot Minor are an amazing band and lovely guys, just appreciate it or dont get involved!
