Lacuna Coil singer to join Apocalyptica at Download

Lacuna Coil frontwoman Cristina Scabbia will be joining Apocalyptica on stage at this year's Kerrang!-sponsored Download Festival on Sunday June 15.

Scabbia will be performing the epic ballad SOS (Anything But Love) live for the first time with the Finnish instrumentalists.

"I've been invited by my friends Apocalyptica to join them during their set at Download," gushes Scabbia. "God, I sooooo can't wait! You know how much I love the UK and how much I adore the always fantastic crowd, so expect me to be very emotional and happy on stage! I want to see you all there during the performance, it's gonna rock."

Lacuna Coil are currently working on the follow-up to 2006's Karmacode.

The Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival will be headlined by: Kiss, The Offspring and Lostprophets.
