Wow, sounds like a good issue, (despite the distinct lack of Green Day) but please, Hayley Williams again? I think I know her life story well enough now... shes not like the first female in punk rock, what about Anabelle Lamb or The Slits?

The magazine would attract a more diverse range people if paramore were nowhere to be seen.

Paramore are popular for all the wrong reasons.

They have probably gained a majority of their fans because of the song that was on twilight.

Which by the way- also sucks.

If some teeny-bopping paramore fan happens to see the mega-poster and picks it up and likes the magazine, thats one more issue of kerrang sold a week, and lo & behold their mission is complete.

So I picked up K! for the first time in absolute ages as I am now a Metal Hammer subscriber and "back in the day" you guys weren't too shabby when it came to covering Metal but I am shocked and appalled by the fact that there is a tiny amount of Metal in your magazine, I suppose those days are long gone? As for the poster; I would have ripped it up and thrown it in the bin but it had The 'Knot on the other side so I didn't want to!

I say kerrang do a special on female fronted bands OTHER than Paramore, considering everone knows of them. Lacuna Coil are like the only other female fronted band that get featured in kerrang, and thats hardly ever.

Maybe more of bands like flyleaf, kittie, die mannequin and picture me broken?

To be fair, you can't just blame hayley Williams instantly just because she is the person that Kerrang have constantly put in the magazine. Yeah, the Rev deserved more of a tribute, but it's just because Paramore have got high predictions to makea big bang in 2010, following their success from last year. I know what you mean but Paramore won't make a big bang, their (mediocre) album came out, they are now touring, big deal. The only reason they are so popular is because of her, she appeals to both guys and gals, and no other band has a hot female singer that also plays mainstream rock music....I think. If it was a male singer they would be a nobody band. Point is they are only popular because of their image, hence why Kerrang are bumming them every week

I don't have any real issues with paramore once every few months its fine to give a poster of them or hayley williams. And i'm not really a huge fan of the Rev. but he did deserve more than what he got.
But why are there so few stories of the lesser known bands out there, its all well and good talking about the bigger bands but we know about them can we not have some more on up and coming genius bands?

..do kerrang ever read these comments people post? I think they would have realized by now that people want more metal and less paramore..and have we seen that yet?
I think you know the answer...I love paramore n all, but still, I hate the fact that everyone loves them because of twilight and people are starting to hate em because they're everywhere! Stop with the paramore already K!

They read them, but they don't care, and why should they? The sales say otherwise.
They could stick Vomitory on the cover and it would sell 1/434th as many copies as they would if it was Paramore. Sad, but true.

Surely there should be a FOB special sometime soon considering the news? I've never been a massive fan, but they've figured heavily into Kerrang whilst they've been around!
