Linkin Park vocalist joins forces with animal rights group

Linkin Park/Dead By Sunrise frontman Chester Bennington has teamed up with animal rights group peta2 for a new anti-fur campaign, Ink Not Mink.

“What’s really important for people to understand is the cruelty behind the fur industry,” says Chester. “Electrocuting animals, skinning them while they're alive — these are acts of inhumanity. Because it’s out of sight, it’s usually out of mind for most people, and we need to show our respect for all creatures of this world.”

Dead By Sunrise's album Out Of Ashes is out now.

PETA's real speciality is abducting pets to "euthanise". Their so-called animal shelters? They don't try and fine homes for the animals, they simply put them down. Much cheaper that way.

PETA also help finance eco-terrorist organisations, and consider the Holocaust as being less evil than the fate of chickens.

And KFC's fucking horrible shit.

Oh my god. How can people (like yourself) actually say that!?
Fucking endorsing murder?!
So you think being skinned while fully concious & not being able to defend yourself is more bearable than sit through about a half an hour of listening to some band?!!

I swear to god some people are just selfish bastards who have no respect for fucking innocent life.

& Chester isn't selling out, he's just using his status to try get people see what's happening in the world today, but some people are too thick to care.

As for your 'precious' KFC, they're evil fuckers

Die.
Yeh, pretty much fuck off and die.
Me? Im not a vege or anything like that, and i HAVE done research into peta. And the work they do is fucking amazing.

If you got skinned alive, or kept in a tiny little cage every hour of the day, maybe you'd feel a little different,

Tho, judging by your comment, maybe your too much of a cunt to even feek then.

Btw, Meteora WAS the best mix. So true.

I completely agree with Chester. Animals are subjected to the most disgusting conditions in these places and really, can you even begin to imagine what it would be like to be skinned alive? I mean some people think paper cuts hurt - imagine having all of your skin torn off. Honestly, just sit and imagine it for a minute. Sometimes, it is true, they do kill the animals first, but even that is done incredibly inhumanely - I saw a video where an animal was being killed for this very purpose by someone holding their foot on it's throat; but does anybody really think about it how this would feel? Or is it just another disposable animal with no feelings who can be slaughtered cruelly to fuel the human race's arrogance and selfish superiority? As the supposed 'superior' race we should be caring for these lives that we have made our responsibility, not exploiting them.

I am ecstatic that someone such as Chester Bennington - who influences many people - has joined the campaign - maybe it will persuade others to do the same. Our society is too narrow-minded and I hope this makes a difference. Massive respect, Chester.

Nicole & Leo

This sums up perfectly the article.
Nicole, as shameful as it is, there are people in the world with that mindset, who only think about themselves, and don't really care about other suffering (Human or not), and have absolutely no respect for, as u put it, innocent life. its pathetic.

And Leo, tht just sums up exactly why people at Peta and stars like Chester are doing things like this.

Respect to you both x

While its true what chester is saying and that Peta do do a fantastic job when it comes to animal safety, protection and awareness, promoting tattoos as a vegan equivalent could be a bit risky as some inks are made from various "natural" sources. I have read that black ink is made from charred animal bone, whether or not this is true I dont know but I thought Id raise this point.

To be fair mate, he isnt really promoting tattoo's or anything like that, more just making people aware of the cruelty of skinning alive, tortures and deaths etc.

If Chester means what he says then he should cut off any ties with that moronic talentless twat known as Jay-Z. Him and his slut wife have so much fur they could clothe a small country.
