I used to be a hugeee FOB fan, until I realized how emotionless their new stuff sounds. I still like them and their old stuff is great, but I'm not pissed they are no more, because its not got better since From Under The Cork Tree.

omg people complain their early stuff was too 'pete wentz', and now they complain that its emotionless! god people give them a break and give them some credit because they have done some really amazing stuff.
i reckon after all the shows they've done recently they deserve some time out.

To the fans - don't worry, they're not breaking up. Haitus is a synonym for "break", not "break up". They'll have a new album out in a couple years, probably.

Regardless, I'm trusting them on this one. They say they're not splitting, and I believe them.

Fall Out Boy are one of the best bands around. I saw them live and they were AMAZING so stfu you don't know what music is. I hope they do get back together :(

Fall Out Boy

It's a shame that good music has to end.
In each album that they have done, their music has just got better and better.
I really do hope that they dont end forever.
Also, it's great to see framing hanley getting some coverage, they need to start getting credit, they are amazing :)

Aw!!

I like all of their old stuff (TTTYG, From Under the cork tree, etc.) but Folie a Deux didn't have any emotion, any thought really behind it. It was just a song, nothing more. Usually there is some meaning and emotion in their songs, something that you can relate to. I like their new songs, but I just can't relate to the lyrics, if you know what I mean..

I see what you mean, but personally I can still relate to quite a few of the songs on Folie.

Maybe you can't relate to it because, this time around, Pete's lyrics aren't just personal to himself, and are therefore more "political" and cover other areas? I don't know, just a thought (:

i live in Australia and i was wondering where i can buy the Kerrang issue from last week, 18/11/09 with Fall Out Boy on the cover. I have been to 4 news agents so far and none of them have any.

From what I have gathered, I think Pete and Craig Owens (former Chiodos) are starting a project together. I saw Craig solo live and he said hes going back to heavy and Pete and Craig have been tweeting very for lack of a better word bandish things to each other.

Also, Pete use to be in a post-hxc band so yeah may actually happen.

Folie a Deux does have an emotion. it's different, some things have changed since From Under the cork tree. they are not the guys they used to be anymore. Anyway, i love their new sound and they're the greatest guys ever.

How is it petes fault? its obviously all of their desicion? Personally i find it very upsetting that they have split as they have done alot to help me with their music. but if they are not happy they are going to split... you never know they could come back bigger and better (if thats possible) in a few years time.
