Free Biffy Clyro acoustic session with this week's Kerrang! magazine

This week's Kerrang! magazine comes with a free and totally exclusive download session courtesy of cover stars Biffy Clyro.

On October 12, 2009, the Scottish trio recorded a money-can't-buy acoustic session, especially for Kerrang! readers, giving the tracks The Captain, Mountains (both taken from their forthcoming new album Only Revolutions, out next Monday), Questions And Answers and Saturday Superhouse the unplugged treatment.

It's bloody brilliant! But you're going to have to move quickly to get your hands on all four songs!

There are a limited number of downloads available on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 2,000 people who redeem the code on the Biffy Clyro download card free with this week's mag will receive the full, four-track EP. The next 1,000 people will receive a two-track bundle. And the final 2,500 receive a single track.

Miss it and you really will miss out, so make sure you get your issue tomorrow (Wednesday, November 4) early!

Biffy Clyro downloads

As a subscriber I don't get my magazine until Friday usually (sometimes it's Saturday). By then all the downloads will have probably gone to people that have bought the magazine from a newsagent. That's unfair on your loyal subscribers (and no I am not going to buy a second copy from a shop).

Well that's a frustratingly annoying set of restrictions to put up there. I don't have the time to rush out and get a copy straight away! Why are you limiting it like that? Surely all readers should be able to get hold of this no matter what day of the week they end up picking up a kerrang. cheers.

I am also a loyal sunscriber and not only do i hardly ever get Kerrang! on time, Definitely never on a Wednesday, but there is a POSTAL STRIKE!!!!! I won't get it for AGES and i love Biffy Clyro!!!! Not fair Kerrang! Not fair.

You do realise...

That these supposedly limited edition tracks will be stuck onto a torrent site or otherwise very soon after they have first been received by the public? I wouldn't worry about not being able to pick up the tracks, because ultimately you will be able to get your hands on them. Just perhaps not through this supposedly LIMITED EDITION website malarkey. Chill, guys.

Why should subscribers miss out? It seems strange that after all the magazine promotion to get 'everything' from the magazine, 'exclusive access' and 'the first look' at things, that they will in fact be the last to get anything, if even at all...

Saw Biffy do Machines at the Barrolwands last night... that more than makes up for me not having the time to get the downloads - yes, some of us have jobs and can't get a copy of Kerrang first thing on a Wednesday morning.

Bullshit, Kerrang - a real shit way to discriminate against people with jobs and people who subscribe to your magazine.

To print "FREE! Biffy Clyro 4-track download" on the front of Kerrang only for it to be a competition, ie a mere chance to get 1, 2, 3 or most probably none of the promised four tracks, is a dishonest con. Not impressed.

You've thought that you would have some kind of loyalty to the subscriber who have paid to get your magazine direct everyweek. I eagerly awaited my copy of the Kerrang! mag for this EP well, after the day it came out came, I found out there was a limitied number of downloads, well....BEING A GOOD DAMNED SUBSCRIBER I GOT THE FUCKING MAGAZINE TODAY WITH NO BLOODY CARD

I hereby end my subscription to your crapply organised magazine and won't be reading it in future going for a magazine like Classic Rock who don't also lick the buts of the mainstream bands all the time and then just suddenly drop them when the mood feels like it
