Bring Me The Horizon to hit the studio

After finishing a gruelling 18 months on the road and completing their biggest UK tour to date, you might expect Bring Me The Horizon to put their feet up and enjoy some much needed downtime.

Not so! The Sheffield metallers are already writing material for their third album and have lined-up uber producer Fredrik Nordstrom (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, At The Gates) to produce the as-yet-untitled effort.

“It’s been one hell of a year, non-stop for us really; our second album, Suicide Season, has taken us further than we ever thought was possible,” said frontman Oli Sykes. “I think we found our unique sound with that album and the next is going to be using Suicide Season as a base, but pushing it further in every single way imaginable. It’s happening with Fredrik Nordström again, since he made us sound so amazing last time.”

Expect the album to surface next summer.

BMTH has been one of my fav's since their EP, loved them when they were deathcore, and they're the heaviest metalcore band around. No matter how they change their sound, they will still be sick as fuck because of their talent and high energy. I got to meet the band when they played the The Norva on the Epitaph Tour and it was the best show I'd ever seen. Good luck guys, and I can't wait for the new album.

Honestly- I believe that Suicide Season was much heavier than Count Your Blessings. CYB was just more hardcore. I'd love to hear something that was so brutal like Suicide Season, but also I'd love some breakdowns and guitar solos. That would be amazing<3
