Guns N' Roses sued for plagiarism

Guns N' Roses are being sued by the record labels of a German musician who alleges his songs were plagiarised on Guns N' Roses 2008 comeback album, Chinese Democracy.

Domino Records and Independiente Records are suing the band and the record's producers for $1 million (approximately £630,000) for allegedly plagiarising Ulrich Schnauss' songs, Wherever You Are and A Strangely Isolated Place, on the track Riad N' The Bedouins.

The band are yet to comment on the lawsuit.

After so many years of making the album....GNR shouldn't have even taken the tiniest part of anyones' music.....they had a verrrryyyyy long time to come up with their own stuff.

im sorry but it doe not suprise me at all axle has really gone down crazy lane i think chinese democracy was the worlds biggest let down simply because of a guns and rose are an ace band (sorry was) and b it took em 15 years to make i want to explain something THIS BAND IS AXLE ROSE AND FREINDS NOT GUNS AND ROSES!

guns n roses

the term guns n roses cant really be used since theres only one member left with a lot of people featuring on axle rose's solo album. the entire rock sound has changed thanks to axle and his selfishness, he really should have sorted this problem a while ago... when he became a heavy drinker and generally a complete dick head!
