Get The Umbrella Academy on your iPhone

Dark Horse comics, the publishers of My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way's The Umbrella Academy, have announced plans to release the hugely popular series as an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Apocalypse Suite issue 1 is available now as a free download from the iTunes store. Subsequent issues will be available over the coming months for 79p per issue.

In related news, My Chemical Romance have nearly completed work on the follow-up to their 2006 Number One album The Black Parade. The as-yet-untitled record will be released early next year through Warner Bros.

awosme! damn i dont get ipod's! i get mp3's! and my friend who claims she is a mcr fan has an ipod! :( WHY IPODS???????? D: WHY CAN'T WE JUST DOWNLOAD IT ONTO A CD?????? DX booohoooo!!!!!!!
