Alice In Chains man arrested on drugs charge

While Alice In Chains are currently enjoying the critical acclaim of Black Gives Way To Blue, former bassist Mike Starr – pictured right in 1992 – was arrested earlier this week in Los Angeles for possessing drugs.

Starr, 43, will go before an LA court on October 14 to face charges.

The former bassist will take part in the third season of Celebrity Rehab which is set to air in the US in January 2010. Handy, that.

I guess it's only the headline that's misleading. It's good job it it former member cos they don't need any more drug issues shadowing what is hopefully going to be one of the best comebacks ever for the genre.
