SJM Concerts, the organisers of Paramore's sold-out headline show in London next month, have implemented a number of measures to combat ticket touts and ensure only the fans who purchased tickets get in.
With tickets priced at just £5, the gig at London's Islington Academy on September 7 sold out in minutes after going on sale last week prompting fears that ticket touts may try and cash in on this intimate show.
SJM issued the following statement:
"Paramore's show at O2 Academy Islington that went on sale last week was through an exclusive fan presale. No physical tickets will be sent to fans and they will receive a wristband on entry.
"To beat the touts and make sure only real fans get in everyone who has bought tickets will be required to present photo ID at the venue on the evening. Anyone who doesn't show photo ID at the box office won't be given access into the venue.
"Anyone who purchased tickets and resells them will have their tickets declared invalid and void and anyone who purchases [from ticket touts] will not be able to gain entry to the event."
