Charlie Simpson first rose to fame in the pop-tastic trio Busted. After touring the world and bagging themselves a host of awards from Brits to Disney Channel Kids Awards, Charlie decided to put his pop career behind him and move into the world of rock, and thus Fightstar was born. The band first hooked up at a party after playing an acoustic version of Rage Against the Machine’s Killing In The Name. They’ve since gone on to achieve three Top 40 albums, supported the likes of Feeder and Funeral For A Friend, and will be playing the main stage at the Reading and Leeds festivals later this year.
