Your Demise part ways with vocalist

Your Demise have parted ways with vocalist George Noble. The St. Albans mob have recruited Centurion vocalist Ed McRae in advance of an extensive tour of Europe with Misery Signals and The Number 12 Looks Like You.

Guitarist Stuart Paice says that the band reached a mutual decision to part ways shortly after signing a US deal with Earache.

“We met the Earache people to sign the deal and the level of commitment to touring hit home with George,” says Paice. “We’ve got a tour of the US in the works and need someone who’ll want to be there. We’re all still friends.”

Paice adds that McRae was a natural choice to fill Noble’s shoes.

“Back in the day, we played a few shows with Centurion and we’ve always thought he was a good vocalist,” he says. “He’s brought a new energy into the band. We’ve had a few rehearsals and things are going great.”

Ignorance Never Dies will be released in the US on August 11 through Earache. The tour kicks off on August 27. See the magazine for details.

no one's king of hardcore,
its just a genre of music,
whether a bands big or small,
people still enjoy it,
no need to argue

ukhc is mint,
probs should be covered more in kerrang instead of so much paramore/linkin park etc etc,

gallows album is one of the albums of the year, warner brothers or no warner brothers label

ed mcrae is a decent vocalist, but a bit of a twat

and centurion were an awesome underground metal band form brighton

but i guess cunts like you just assume if you havnt heard of a band they must be shit.

the demise of your demise?

has anyone actually heard the routes of hardcore from the US? i wouldnt really give k! a hard time about the gallows statement. listen to hardcore punk and listen to gallows theres a lot in there.. god at least it has a bit of character to it.
the fact that a band like your demise can just get another vocalist in shows how unimportant they are i know other bands have done it but if a band can just replace a frontguy like that he obviously wasnt that special or the kind of music they are making is obviously easily replicated pretty sad.
give me an icon. give me some hardcore but yeah give me something unique and on occassions a bloody melody

Ive played with both bands before. George was awesome and if he wanted to leave then allow it. Ed was good in centurion... So he should be good in YD.. let it happen and stop being gay
