The Used announce UK tour dates

The Used have announced a series of UK tour dates for later in the year.

The shows are as following:

AUGUST

1 Sonisphere Festival
5 London, The Garage

SEPTEMBER

15 Cardiff, Solus
16 Newcastle, University
17 Glasgow, Garage
19 Leeds, Metropolitan University
21 Manchester, Academy II
22 Birmingham, Academy II
23 London, Electric Ballroom

Tickets are priced at £17 for Electric Ballroom, £14 for The Garage and £16 for all other dates.

The group's new album Artwork will be released on August 31 through Warners.

No way Leeds

Leeds Met is a well shite venue , im gonna pay a few extra quid in petrol and drive to Manchester coz i want decent sound and a decent atmosphere .. leeds met has made awesome bands like ETID and Jimmy Eat World sound fucking shit before, not lettin it happen again .. youve been warned ppl

last time I saw them was at taste of chaos and I caught quinn's plectrum!! :)
(and can people stop slagging off Leeds met it's not THAT bad a venue!)

It's amazing that the are actually touring on a Used tour rather than on the back of something like Taste of chaos. The 1st London date was announced ages ago and is now sold out. Lucky for me I have tickets for both.

Tour dates

Thus is pish. Why can't they come to Sheffield? This means I have to go to Leeds until God knows what time, and then most probably miss the last train home.
I wouldn't expect them to come to my actual home town, Barnsley, cos they'd most probably get molested by chavs. But still... why not Sheffield???

last night was the 15th september and i went to the used. it was the most fucking amazing gig i've ever been too. i love the way bert seems to really get involved with the audience. i've been to some good gigs, and some shit ones. but the used topped everything. bert picked me and my friend and around 6 others to come on stage with him. i moshed in front of a hundred people with the used! FUCKING EPIC!
