'Best "on the cusp" award'

For those bands Kerrang feels obliged to cover, even if they don't really fall into the usual remit. e.g. Metro Station (pop band), Gym Class Heroes (RnB / pop).

Or just be nice and recongise bands in other genres who are brilliant!

I would make it the award for the Most Inspiring band of the year - Muse would win it for everything that they have donw for/with music. However, an alternative would be for other perhaps newer bands to vote with their own ideas about who has influenced them the most - it could be an award for a band, by the band!! :)

Kerrang award :)

If I could make a category it would be which band has the best stage presence. I would chose the blackout as the winner since both times I've seen them it's been an amazing gig! And I think they actually give a crap about their fans, which show when they perform live! There music is loud and epic :) with welsh accents! So yeah, the blackout!

I would have an award for bands that write their own music and lyrics, maybe the "Wrote it Myself" award. It oculd have bands that have been around at least 10 years and have written and performed their own music. It is so rare today to find someone that can do that. The winner, hands down, would be Ville Valo and HIM, and Ville has written some of the most moving and beatiful lyrics and music consistently throughout HIM's career.

i think i would create an award for the band that care most for their fans. The winners would be Madina Lake because they put the fans above everyone and everything else including themselves. They go out of their way to talk to us by holding chats online and making sure they talk to people before and after shows

You could create a category for "The band that has saved the most lives".

This would be awarded to the band HIM without a doubt. As a team leader I have heard so many fans express this in so many ways. I know from experience that HIM's songs can lift the veil of depression and despair from the most hardened of hearts. People all over the world say that the music of HIM has affected them the same way, saving them from suicide and helping them make it through hard and painful situations. Ville should get an award of pure gold for this achievement--saver of lives! Long live HIM!

They are IT. 1) They use US the fans= we're included in their projects, albums, etc. 2) They use all their energy , in shows, making the records 3)They use their faith EX: the dilema of being sued for $30K and still keepin up with a great battle and WINNING! 4) They use their Incredible abbilities as musicians::JARED LETO - BeAuTiFuL voice , REAL & Passionate songwriter and many other Talents SHANNON LETO:: Probably the greatest drummer ever- he actually studies drum playing from other cultures and stuff like that.. TOMO - former fan and now Guitar player for sev. years 5) They use their energy - They are SOO Great as LIVE performers, go out into the crowd (may have broken a nose and gotten injured and still do it), They use whatever they got left to interact w/fans after shows 6) They use up their knowledge :: They know the internet is a great way to connect and so choose to hav a myspace, twitter, flickr, homepage and a bunch more places so that fans are always updated and in touch with 30seconds to mars, knowledge in stage presense:: they are not just and ordinary band that looks bad in a Tee and Jeans, NO they actually look damn good out there and hav a good fashion taste, and Dude does JARED have the BESTEST HAIR or wat?!?!!!....YUP THIS LIST CAN AND DOES KEEP GOING BUT I'LL STOP THERE

30 SECONDS TO MARS would win...They are freakin awesome and in a lot of peoples opinion the BEST BAND EVER!! They are IT. 1) They use US the fans= we're included in their projects, albums, etc. 2) They use all their energy , in shows, making the records 3)They use their faith EX: the dilema of being sued for $30K and still keepin up with a great battle and WINNING! 4) They use their Incredible abbilities as musicians::JARED LETO - BeAuTiFuL voice , REAL & Passionate songwriter and many other Talents SHANNON LETO:: Probably the greatest drummer ever- he actually studies drum playing from other cultures and stuff like that.. TOMO - former fan and now Guitar player for sev. years 5) They use their energy - They are SOO Great as LIVE performers, go out into the crowd (may have broken a nose and gotten injured and still do it), They use whatever they got left to interact w/fans after shows 6) They use up their knowledge :: They know the internet is a great way to connect and so choose to hav a myspace, twitter, flickr, homepage and a bunch more places so that fans are always updated and in touch with 30seconds to mars, knowledge in stage presense:: they are not just and ordinary band that looks bad in a Tee and Jeans, NO they actually look damn good out there and hav a good fashion taste, and Dude does JARED have the BESTEST HAIR or wat?!?!!!....YUP THIS LIST CAN AND DOES KEEP GOING BUT I'LL STOP THERE
