Paramore unveil new album artwork

Paramore have unveiled the artwork for their upcoming third studio album, Brand New Eyes.

Check out the artwork fro the Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance) produced record below.

In an interview with MTV, frontwoman Hayley Williams is keen to point out that no animals were harmed in the making of the album's artwork:

"The cover is actually a butterfly I found [dead] in my driveway one day, and it was huge and really gorgeous and we clipped its wings off and pinned its body and its wings up to the fence in my backyard," said Williams. "I've had it forever in this box in my mom's house. And we all liked the idea of ripping the wings off a butterfly, because it's in the lyrics of Brick By Boring Brick."

It's also the lyrics to HIM's 2005 single Wings Of A Butterfly Hayles...

In related news, the band are streaming their forthcoming single, Ignorance, at www.paramore.net.

Brand New Eyes will be released on September 28 through Fueled By Ramen.

I saw this cover weeks ago too, and at a much bigger resolution.

I saw the artwork few weeks ago, and I think that it couldn't be more "paramore" than this. It's just so beautiful, and the new single seems to bring the old paramore spirit back, as Holly said. Can't wait for the album! :D

The Art work is amazing and it's going to see brillently. i lovr paramore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! paramore seems to be going back to what they were and i will stick as a fan of paramore through changes or not!

In response to Holly, how the hell does the new single bring the "old Paramore" back? It sounds like a rip off of Garbage. She's trying far too hard to be far too punk, and in all honesty she needs to tone it down and go back to when they were UNIQUE. The only reason the song sounds any good is because a damn good producer worked on it. And the lyrics are terrible.

In response to the artwork, I'm a little concerned why Hayley rips apart random insects she finds dead on her driveway and keeps them tacked to her fence. :/ Is this what they teach in sunday schools now?

am i the only paramore fan who finds not only this album cover disappointing, but also the new song?
its not even old paramore. its a long version of fences basically, and wheres the passion in the album cover we saw with riot?
