Exclusive: Former Bleeding Through guitarist joins BMTH

Bring Me The Horizon have enlisted guitarist Jona Weinhofen on a permanent basis, we can exclusively reveal.

Weinhofen, formerly of Australian metal outfit I Killed The Prom Queen and Orange Country metallers Bleeding Through, joined the band on a temporary basis in May to fill-in for the departed Curtis Ward.

“He was thinking of leaving Bleeding Through as he was unhappy living in America,” Sykes tells Kerrang!. “We’ve had so much fun touring the European festivals with him, it’s amazing to have him in the band permanently.”

in my opinion, bleeding through are shit, i killed the prom queen were shocking and bmth aren't exactly better or worse then the other bands, so basically this guy needs to either join a good fucking band or just quit before he goes into another shit band.

geeeeez get the fuck over it they did'nt really replace him, curtis LEFT!!! meaning didnt WANT to be apart of the band anymore so why critisize the band for it? second; jona is a great guitarist, sure it will be wierd seeing him with them at first but its not the looks its the music that matters. third why say this band is shit or this band sux, you may not like them but obviously you care some what because your paying attention to them, second im sure there is music of yours other people dont like, and im sure you dont like them saying that shit about the bands you like. so if you dont like them dont pay attention to them and just say that its not you cup of tea or whatever but dont diss another persons music. and lastly just listen to the music, read the lyrics, consider how much work this group of people put into there record and just enjoy it or dont like it but respect it cuz it takes more work than you think and it gets very frustraiting so let the guys be and lets just see what happens homies

I just want the third album to be as strong as Suicide Season.

This is hardly much of a humongous deal.
Curtis was amazing and yus yus, he will be missed e.t.c, but people do need to get over that he NEEDED to go. He would have just jeopardized his health and that'd hardly lead to good things.

Those who bash BMTH need to get a life, like them saying ''BMTH ARE SHIT'' ''BUNCH OF CUNTS''...is really going to make an OUNCE of difference, besides them looking like a load of dragged up wanks crying out for attention.

It's good that a band has haters, but hearing the same old shit is lame and overused.

I rreally liked Curtis, even more than a friend. We always snuck around when I was with Oli.
And now that they've kicked him out, yes, that's right, they kicked Curtis out..
Now we are planning on getting married.

Poor Curtis, he loved Bring Me The Horizon.

Why comment or even read the thread if you don't like BMTH?

People need to realise that not everyone likes the same music and it is not a personal attack against you that the band play gigs and make music.

There's a lot of music I don't like but I do not search for those bands on the web and then write abuse about them or people that like them.

It's really quite sad that these people have nothing better to do than write about bands they don't even like?!

Suggestion to you people described in the above;

a) Don't listen to music you don't like

b) Don't deliberately search for bands you don't like just so you can slag them off

c) Don't go to gigs where said bands are playing then moan you wish they would all die!

d) GET A LIFE, it's only music, not the end of the world!!!!

I'm sure if you follow these simple rules, you will be less annoyed by people liking bands you don't and other fans don't have to put up with your constant whinnying!

But regardless of the above, good luck BMTH! You guys deserve success x
