DragonForce pull out of K! Awards show

DragonForce have been forced to pull-out of the Kerrang! Week Of Rock due to the "personal circumstances" of one of the band members.

The band were due to be headlining London's HMV Forum on July 29.

"It is with great regret we have to cancel the show on July 29 due to unforeseen personal circumstances of one of the band," a spokesperson for the band told K!. "This is obviously not something the band have decided lightly but we see no option. And no, we don't want to be more specific, its kinda personal, so rest assured, there is no option."

The event's promoters have urged fans to seek refunds at the point of purchase.

Dragonforce are shit anyway so not tht big of a loss
all there songs sound the same and wen they do it live the guitarists cant even play as fast as they do on the album so wots the point in doing it tht fast
the only good part of this band is the vocalist he deserves to actually be in a good band

In your opinion they maybe shit, but whats the point on commenting on something you don't like?there isn't one. Not all there gongs sound the same, yeah they sound kinda siuar, but thats a good thing. They do have variety!!! and as for playing live, they play awesome live! I've seen tem, and they can play just as fast live as on the album. ZP is in a good band, a band thats perfect for him!

This better not affect their November/December tour.

They CAN in fact play their songs note for note live surprisingly Leon Jones :P
And yes, a lot of their songs are quite similaIR, but isn't that teh case with most bands anyway?
Every band has their sound, and even just for shits and giggles, the band will throw in solos from other songs into the ones they're playing to see if anyone notices ;)

Gutted. I was so looking forward to seeing this show, not just for Dragonforce too.

so what? theyve just cancelled? noones replacing them? meaning that i have to miss the two worthwhile bands becuase of some stupid excuse? why cant kerrang make stone gods the headliners? or get another band in? it'd still be an awesome gig. come on kerrang, its not a week of rock without a wednesday!!!

hhhhmmmm.....

please dont let this effect their tour. if that happends i will cry. :( first time of seeing them live and i cant miss that.

lets hope the issue gets sorted out soon and i think they should no that all their fans are here to support them through watever they need support with. thats what we are here for. :].

plus all their songs have meaning...and they are ace live so i've been told. people who dont like them why comment? idiots

all i was sayin was that its a bit crap that an organisation with the credibility of kerrang should really be able to find a band to fill in for them and jkeep the night goin rather than cancel it completely...
