Coheed man to unveil new comic book series this week

Coheed And Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez will reveal his new comicbook series, Kill Audio, later this week at San Diego's annual Comic-Con convention.

Sanchez, who already ahs the award-winning Amory Wars series under his belt, will unveil his latest effort at the San Diego Convention Center this Thursday (July 23) ahead of its October release.

Kill Audio follows "an immortal troll as he searches for the meaning of life in a land snubbed of creativity." A 7" vinyl action figure of the series' eponymous character - who bears more than a passing resemblance to its creator - will be on sale at the convention.

You are actually kidding me?
Kill audio was announced ages ago, along with the vinyl figure, which has been on sale at every signing he's done for a while, plus he did a signing in London for it ages ago, during neverender. Plus there's been comics online on the myspace for ages (http://www.myspace.com/killaudiovinyl) and you're just talking about it now?
The only new thing as far as I'm aware is the preview book, which is on sale at comic con but I might be wrong about that, it could have been out for a while.

It seriously amazes me how ignorant some people can be. I do not write on these forums, but seriously get your facts right before you open your ignorant mouth.
1. Talent wise, I believe MCR have quite the advantage based on album sales and fan following. Not to mention billboard hit songs, regardless of your opionin, that is a general known consensus.
2. (The Umbrella Academy) is far from X-Men, which I dont even read comics and I know this.
3. I saw Coheed this spring in ST Paul with Slipknot, if they ever (EVER) wanna get mentioned of having a following nearly as big as MCR or SLip, they better step their game up, try somethin new, not bad, not great.
4. THEE MOST IMPORTANT! (Fag) Way just got married not even two years ago and just had his first kid. Real "Fag" like of him, huh?

I'm neutral in this too by the way, I just hate ignorant people. Thats all. Mark, I bet you're one of those guys who drive slow in the fast lane and dont even think of moving over.

I must say, I think Coheed and Cambria are better quality than My Chemical Romance. I MCR's songs very repetitive, alot of my friends are fans of theirs, and I can't tell one song apart from the other, aside from the lyrics. Whereas Coheed and Cambria have multiple Genres for everyone to enjoy and each song is very well distinguished. Plus, I think the whole Adult's wearing makeup and the humping eachother on stage (Ferard or whatever they call it) concept is ridiculous. This is what I mean by better quality.

I'm hoping I don't get eaten alive by the fans as I usually do.
But it's my opinion, as is the usual response of 'U R SOOOO RONG, MCR ROX, THIS CAMBRIA AND COHEED BAND SUX!!!!!SHIFT111!!!'
I swear I've gotten that response before.

I'll agree with ya, not bite your head off. Music wise, Coheed are far superior artists than MCR. They have great skill in all the fields required to produce memorable songs and they always have fresh new idea's to keep the fans guessing.

MCR are, on the other hand, very stale after about 3 songs. Their not a bad band, just not as creative as C&C. I think it is just their fans who big them up to much. Crazed little girls between about 12-15 who think they can run off into the sunset with Gerrard Way.

Sorry to burst your bubble kidlits, but his already married, so fantasy over. And ha! 21? Turn the numbers around "." and thats the real age. ;)

I'm not going to start an argument,but personaly i think MCR are the better band. And i don't think you should say 'Turn the numbers around', even though it made me laugh.
i am 18 which i realize is still quite young compared to half the kerrang! fans. I don't fancy gerard way, although i can see the perspective of most girls who do. I mean- he is an attractive guy.
I love MyChemicalRomance to bits, but their fans don't do them much credit. You're right, half the fans are obsessive kids. But the actual band is amazing, people just wont open up and listen to their music because they are described as a 13-yr-old fat virgin sorta brand. But at least they are not fake, like half the 'rock' bands out there.
Like i love LostProphets to bits, but they were better with stuff like 'burn burn'. Yaknow, all the harder stuff? now its all AIMED at the fa virgins. which bugs me. SO at least MCR haven't changed(though the black parade was unusually emo and not punk)

And i'd just like to add on that MetroStation are pop and should be banned from Kerrang!. i swear, the K! office is CLEARLY run by un-married women :S

And i know that didnt have anything to do with the topic, but i had to add it on.

I have to disagree, I've opened my mind up completely and listened to them as if they were a brand new band, and no offense trying to be made, but I found Gerard Way's voice very, very whiny. Not in a good way either, just that kind of strain your ears way. As well as the beats being very repetitive, and the guitar was nothing special. Overall I think they get most of their publicity from the girls thinking it's 'Cool' to like My Chemical Romance. It's kind of like how people like to listen to 'Bullet for my Valentine' because they think it makes them sound cool. Sure enough, there are some fans out there that do like their music, but I'm sure over half the fans are false.
Which bothers me because I'm sure that Coheed and Cambria deserve much more credit than MCR. Again, just my opinion though.

And I also have to disagree with the Gerard Way being attractive comment, I find him a very not good looking guy. To each their own though, because I find Claudio Sanchez attractive, and I'm pretty damn sure most people don't. ;)
