Former The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins joined Steel Panther on stage last night at London's Club 229.
Hawkins - who now fronts Hot Leg - helped perform the LA heavy metal legends' hit, Party All Day (Fuck All Night), which he contributed vocals to on the band's debut album, Feel The Steel.
Frontman Michael Starr told the sold-out crowd:
"[Justin] was in LA when we were in Vegas and he went into the studio and cut this track for us, except it was so bad we had to get some other guy who sounds a bit like him to redo it. But you guys won't be able to tell the difference."
Following Party All Day... Hawkins took lead vocals for a cover of The Darkness' 2003 single, I Believe In A Thing Called Love.
In their main set Steel Panther also performed Death To All But Metal, Asian Hooker, Community Property and Eyes Of A Panther before treating the assembled throng to an encore of Motley Crue's Kickstart My Heart and Van Halen's Panama.
