Green Day may be world-conquering punk rock superstars, but that doesn't mean they can't make time for you lot.
In this week's Kerrang! magazine the Californian trio took time out of their manic schedule to answer your questions.
For the full interview, and to see if your question was included, be sure to pick up a copy of this week's Kerrang! magazine (on sale tomorrow). But, in the mean time, here's a question from Patrick from Chicago asking about credibility...
PATRICK STUMP, FALL OUT BOY
The Berkeley punk scene that you came from was pretty mean when you first blew up, but now that you've proven you're here for the long haul and you have integrity, have any of the bands who ostracised you retracted the ill will they gave you at the time?
MIKE: "A lot of people would tell me about stuff like that going on. People said that Pennywise didn't like us but then I met Fletcher [Dragge, Pennywise guitarist] one night and he said, 'Oh you guys were great, we always had a good time watching you'. So I'm not sure that stuff happened in quite the way it was portrayed."
BILLIE JOE: "A lot of the atmosphere from [notoriously political Berkeley punk club] Gilman Street is still there, though, so I don't think anyone will be apologising or retracting their statements. It's just one of those things. It's the sort of thing that makes Berkeley what it is."
MIKE: "And there's definitely something to be said for people standing by their convictions. Those people really care about their music and their beliefs and that's a good thing."
TRE: "Whoever they were, though, you can bet their girlfriend liked Green Day..."
