Faith No More to play four more UK and Irish dates

Following their headline set at tomorrow's Download festival, Faith No More will play four more UK and Irish dates this summer.

The band were selling T-shirts at last night's gig at London's Brixton Academy listing all of their The Seconds Coming Tour '09 dates.

Although the venues are yet to be confirmed, the gigs are listed as follows:

August
25 Glasgow
27 Dublin
28 Reading
30 Leeds

Yeah, except TITP and Oxegen (yes its spelt without a 'y') festivals are in July and FNM aren't playing them. They annoucned Reading/Leeds a while back but it appears download told them to remove the annoucnement. The Scotland and Irish dates are more than likely to be headline shows.

WHAT

It's been known for a while they're headlining the NME/Radio1 Stage/Tent at Reading and Leeds Festivals! There's no more room anywhere else for them to be on any other stage.

They're rumoured to be headlining NME tent. Much better if they play a tent then the main stage. Better sound, smaller crowd, better atmosphere. Hopefully less indie wankers as KOL are clashing with them.

LOL 'indie wankers'! NEWS FLASH, you don't have to be 'indie' to like certain bands. And Reading/Leeds is far from an 'Indie' festival. Yeah ok you might not like any of the main stage headliners but there's 6 other stages to choose from!

hmmm

I'm really confused as to what is going on with faith no more.....they are playing, they arent, whats going on?
I heard download got them as an exclusive act, and no other festival would have them this year.
If they do play leeds (which im going to) it would be immense, but in the tent? you are going to have to be there a while to get a decent spot for them, it gets mobbed, same for lostpropets headling aswell.

FNM

Saw them back in '95, missed them at Brixton this week, but would be so cool to see them again. They are unbelievable live - Mike Patton is a top frontman

Could Download not be done under the trade descriptions act for this? They sepcifically advertised the only festival show by Faith No More, yet they seem to be playing at the Reading/Leeds festival?
Also, why the hell is a headline act only playing a tent at another festival? Seems very odd to me.
