This year's Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival will include sets by two 'secret bands' festival promoters Live Nation have revealed.
The move follows in the tradition of the inaugural festival in 2003 when Metallica played a secret set on the second stage. However, Live Nation will be announcing the 'secret bands' for this year's event this Friday (June 5) to avoid disappointing fans who may think they have snagged some rock legends.
"We're revealing the 'secret' bands so that people don't get bent out of shape when they discover it's not AC/DC or Led Zeppelin," said festival organiser Andy Copping via his Twitter page.
Its The Answer And Opeth Why Are We Guessing?!?!?! They're Tagged In The Band List Above And Are Not On The Bill Yet!

eurgh some ppl are sooo blind , there is no way its gonna be bfmv, the band offically announced the only uk festival they are playing is sonisphere , they are recording. Nor will it be fuckin blink 182 they are also recording and if they would be anywhere it would be reading. its prob gonna be disturbed and soulfly

I suggest half the people read the Sonisphere exclusive list before getting their hopes up. People shouting for Bullet, Avenged, NIN and Machine Head - they've all said Sonisphere is their only UK date, bar NIN, who are on their own tour and won't be doing another festival.
Megadeth is a great shout. I personally reckon a quick Stone Sour slot is possible, as is Green Day as their side project, whatever they're called.

Possibly be Gallows, ther are debates about it tho
(Ther gunna kinda fit between Pendulum and Marilyn Manson, but the set would be cut short to zip back to manson, i probly wont bother)
