Against Me! drummer Warren Oakes has left after eight years in the band. He's now concentrating on a new Mexican restaurant called Boca Fiesta in Gainesville, Florida.
"Thank you so much to everyone who helped make the dream a reality, especially Tom, James and Andrew," says Oakes. "I've had the time of my life, and I owe it all to you."
The band are currently writing material for the follow-up to their Kerrang!-approved 2007 album, New Wave, at home before heading off to LA to record the as-yet-untitled new album with producer Butch Vig (Nirvana, Green Day, AFI).
