Story Of The Year begin work on new album

St. Louis rockers Story Of The Year are working on a new release.

The band have updated fans on the progress of the new album, which will be the follow-up to 2008's The Black Swan.

"Right now I am working overtime writing a new SOTY record," says guitarist Ryan Phillips. "It's turning out really good. I'm very happy with what's coming out."

"My brain is in a very interesting stage in my life," he continues, "and it's interesting how that affects what music comes out of me."

"I'm very delighted to say that I think this record is shaping up to be fucking great!"
