Steel Panther get ready to rock the UK!

Legendary LA glam metallers Steel Panther are preparing to become the biggest band in the UK when they play they play the Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival this summer.

“We are going to be the biggest heavy metal band in England,” said the band on their blog. “Bigger than Def Leppard. Well, maybe not, but at least we have all of our arms.”

While the band are in the UK, they’re also going to check out all the sights the UK has to offer.

“We are going to get to see all the sights, the post continues. “Like the leaning tower and the Great Wall.”

As well as playing Download, the band will also play an intimate show at The band will play London's 229 Club in on June 16.

People need to understand they're just a jokey band. It's not like they're aiming to be HUGE and play sold out arenas world wide.

Seeing them in London, should be good.

Yeah they are legends, just guys having a good time! We need people that don't take things too seriously! If you love the Panther you should check out their youtube stuff, they've got a competition to meet them goin on! Me and my mates are entering! Reckon it could be one of the most fun nights ever!
