Megadeth mainman to score new Will Ferrell movie

For those of you who thought Dave Mustaine was a bit too po-faced for his own good, the Megadeth frontman recently revealed that he actually does have a sense of humour.

Mustaine is set to write the score for Will Ferrell's (Anchorman Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory) forthcoming flick Land Of The Lost.

"I went and saw the movie last week and it was hilarious!" Mustaine revealed. "I loved it! I love Will Ferrell; I think he's hilarious. We're getting ready to send some music up to these guys, and then I'll be heading up there this week to hopefully finish all this off with their guys. And man, how exciting for me."

In related news, the as-yet-untitled follow up to Megadeth's 2007 album, United Abominations, will be released in September.
