Marilyn Manson slams Limp Bizkit!

Marilyn Manson has launched a vitrolic attack on Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland.

Borland joined Manson's band briefly last summer before leaving to re-join the reformed nu-metal legends. In an exclusive interview in this week's Kerrang! magazine, Manson has relieved that the guitarist never joined his band on a full-time basis.

"We almost made the mistake of having Wes play guitar but he re-joined Limp Bizkit," Manson explains. "That move forever eradicated my feelings on his choices in life as an artist."

When asked why he thinks Borland went back to his old band, Manson said: "That is what I find myself asking when I urinate sometimes. He said he would never go back. If the reason is money, then I'd rather roll up a ú5 note and shove it up my urethra. I'd rather set my dick on fire than join something that I hated."

whilst I am a fan of manson and his music, this is a bit of hypocrisy. i feel hes saying this to cover his own arse and to save a bit of face after borland joined and then left again.

borland purely did it for the money.as for bizkit being more bad ass at download than manson, i doubt that very much.

Too bad I won't be there to pass judgment on Limp Bizkit at Download as I'll be watching the much more worthy Voivod instead. Will be steering clear of Manson too, after the shambles that was his show in 2007.

limp are crap, the guy thinks his black, and has no talent, for manson im not a big fan but i did see him in readying in 1996 when he cutted his cheat up (thats what you call rock n roll) and i sore him at readying in 2001, he had the croud in the parm of his hand then, sore hime at download 07 and he lost it! he was crap as limp bizkit. I got faith this year thou, iv heard the samples of song from manson new alburm the high end of low, and trust me i know his going to wipe the FLOOR! with limp bizkit with this new alburm

What would you have answered the interviewer when he asked about Wes? I think Manson did a pretty good job in beeing honest with his answer. And I can truly see why, I even agree.

As for people sayin' MM sucks live. I just can't understand it. To me this band have allways had the crowd in it's hand and at all the shows I have been to, Manson allways beats the rest just with his presence. He just shines rock n roll whatever he does.

About for the new album. Check it out on youtube. There is a lot of samples, and this album is going to be my all time favourite Manson record. And I haven't even heard all of it. It sounds byond fantastic.

whoever said that Manson is shit live must be retarded.
i saw him at download in 2007.
and then later that year on his Eat Me Drink Me tour. of fucking course bands or artists arent as good when they play at festivals because they dont have the time to sort out a proper stage show.
i like Limp and Manson. But tbh, it shows whos the bigger band seen as Manson is like 2nd to last on the day.
Download is gonna be amazing this year though :D

I dont think so.

At Leeds Fest in 2001 he had all sorts of stuff going on in his set. Played a great set

At Download 2007 we got a few candles and not much else. His performance was boring that day.

Stage props aren't the be all and end all of a great festival set, but when you're a character like Marilyn Manson it sure helps.

he is right, Wes Borland fucking sold out and went against his values. A few months back he fucking hated fred durst and most of the stuff he had in in LB. All of a sudden he is back on Durst's side. Me thinks a large sum of cash was on offer.

I'm gonna be honest and say that I don't really like Limp Bizkit but I'm getting annoyed with Manson, like in last K! mag he said he hated Gerard Way, which to be honest I don't know what Gerard has done but you don't publicly say fuck you Gerard Way.

Big deal if he left, I'm glad he's not on the "High End of Low" Album, I've heard the previews, and I was so glad not to hear his style at all.

Marilyn Manson is a fantastic artist, sonically and visually, and is very good at manipulating the media.

i think that both manson and LB are good. i admit i dont really like wes's style but its up to him if he really wants to go back to LB i agree with some people saying about a lot of money because he said he'd never go back to LB. i personaly think there both good in their own rights and they both are good with how they are live. I think i know why

Mansons set with or without Wes, but the simple fact is. Without Wes, there is no limp bizkit. Once he left. I stopped listening to them. His riffs are legendary in my book. And deserves alot of credit to try and revive a band that = fail without him
