Lyn-Z and Gerard announce birth of first child

Congratulations to Mindless Self Indulgence bassist Lyn-Z and her husband My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way on the birth of their daughter.

Bandit Lee Way was born at 2:57 Pacific Standard Time yesterday (May 27).

Lyn-Z is the second member of MSI to become a parent after guitarist Steve Righ?’s partner Lucinda gave birth to the couple’s first child, Violet, last week.

Honestly, yes, some people may get a little over excited about something like this, but who are you to say that they are pathetic for doing that? I think Bandit will make Gerard and Lindsays relationship between eachother, and their son, closer now. I never realized how happy I would be once I read the title of this post! I was shocked to hear about the Deftones bassist being seriously injured, and of course I realise that the band is extremely affected by that. But I'm just making a point that even though that's more newsworthy than this, it still isn't strictly music related, so to say this shouldn't be on there is to say that shouldn't be either.
And maybe you should stop judging people. I don't appreciate being called heartless, because I do care that he was injured and hope he makes a recovery-any human life is worth a lot, whether it's a band member or some random person in the street.
Also, a baby does affect a band, just not in such a drastic way.

I should really say now that I, personally, am not saying that the news of the injured bass player shouldn't have been reported-of course it should, because the fans will want to know, as you said. I was just making a point that if Kerrang! followed up on the comments saying only striclty music news should be posted, they may not post that type of news in future either.

I know that the baby's birth isn't affecting the music at the moment, but Lyndsey ebing pregnant meant she couldn't tour with MSI, and no doubt MCR's break could be prolonged. But I understand your point.

And yeah, I agree with you that my example was a bad one, but in my [crappy and stupid] defense, I was generalising the stories, and as I said, the only one I thought of was about the Deftones bassist. VERY bad choice on my part, so once again I apologise.
And it's okay, I was a bit offended by being called heartless[not so much the cunt part] but I'm over it and I can see why you said that, so that's fine.
And as you can probably see from the shitload of comments I've left, I've pretty much beaten myself up over this because I felt so bad about potentially insulting someone. I've literally been overthinking about this since I said it, and I know it was not a tactful comment.

Why do people insist on making such snide comments about MCR? Their music has helped so many teenages; surely that's a good thing? I appreciate that some people just don't like the music, but what's with the snide comments? It doesn't get you anywhere, and MCR are still gonna be popular, no matter what. Why can't people just be civil and have respect and manners?
LynZ is not just famous for marrying Gerard Way either. I love her band, as do many others.
I agree that Bandit is a strange name, but both Gerard and LynZ are unique so why not pass the uniqueness onto their children?

They could be drug-addicts, violent and abusive behind closed doors, but because they're pretty and in "cool" bands, retarded teenys who think they're also cool because they have the same striped socks get vicarious thrills through the lives of rich, famous and supposedly interesting people since they have no lives of their own.

I must point out that I have no life, but at least it is my own and I get my own thrills and kicks without having to imagine my life was in some way connected to someone that I read about on the internet.
