Green Day have posted full audio streams for their new album, 21st Century Breakdown, online.

The album, which will be released worldwide next Friday (May 15) can be heard on The Sun's official website (of all places).

to be honest it isnt as 'in your face' as american idiot and i think it a different genre altogether- but in a very gudd way
definately 1 for the ipod !!

Yep. Better than American Idiot. The averahe song on this is better than the average song on AI. 21 Guns is better than BOBD, Murder City is better than AI, Lobotomy is better than WMUWSE and East Jesus Nowhere is as good as Holiday.

Horseshoes and Handgrenades and Static Age > Jesus of Suburbia.

Epic Album? Really?

1. Dookie 2. Nimrod 3. American Idiot.

21st Century Breakdown? Out if Green Day’s 8 albums, this one is either ranked 7th or 8th. Don’t get me wrong, by the standards set by many other bands these days, this is not a bad album, but unfortunately not a particularly great one either. It reminds me of Bon Jovi’s ‘Keep the Faith’; not in any musical way, mind you, only in that years to come I can see it being referred to, by the fans, as Green Day’s “Sell Out” album.

I appreciate that it doesn’t matter who you are, ALL bands have to grow and develop, regardless how big they may be; Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith the list goes on. Yes the basics of the band are there but there is still progression. Other than Billie Joe’s distinctive voice, when it takes until the 8th track to say “that’s Green Day!”, there is something seriously wrong.

Overall I’d give this album a 4/10

FLIPPIN AMAZING!!

When i first heard Know youe enemy I was weary of the rest of the album. Although they have some soft songs, east jesus nowhere totally made me feel alot better! I love viva la gloria too! Cant wait to see them in July<3 So happy they're back

Insomniac gets my vote although to choose between them is very very hard.

i actually thinks its there best album to day! it has so much experimental and variety while maintaing punk riffs and there storytelling lyrics! fuckin ace

and im sure NO ONE agrees with me but fuck it lol
