hey i read a section of the marilyn manson interveiw the bit on mcr and i think that manson is way off mcr if would never copy a talentless idiot like manson who in order to get a hit used an old 80s hit and ruined it

Green Day

My uncle got tickets for Green Day - October at the SECC in Glasgow. I thought him and my aunt were goin to go. But he gave my aunts ticket to me. How awesome is that?! And its standing!! Its gonna be an epic night.
Can't wait to buy their new album :)

That's fucking ridiculous. Yes it's a good album but it doesn't sound like Green Day. When everyone said American Idiot was the best one yet it was bulllshit. They have never and probably never will make an album better than Dookie. Just because it's more mainstream and people are anal raping them doesn't make it good. I'm actually a big Green Day fan but the recent stuff doesn't compare to the likes of Dookie and Nimrod.

Disappointed.

I love Green Day. In fact, they've been the only band I've ever stuck to loving, when I get sick of bands so easily.
But this new album was such a let-down. They've gone mainstream, which I hate, and all the songs on this new album sound pretty much the same. I mean, they're in the charts now! What's up with that?
I fucking loved Insomniac, which in my opinion was their best album, it was low-key, grungy and fucking sick. But this new one is the same as American Idiot but not as good!
I have to say I am incredibly disappointed.

Green Day

I have loved Green Day since I can remember and I waited patiently for their new album.

I have every one so far and they are the only band I have, honestly, never gotten sick of.

But then this album comes out, and I am GUTTED. I can't tell where each song starts and ends, they all seem to merge into one, and Billie-Joe's voice sounds strange with the new sound they seem to be using...

I have to agree and say that they are slowly selling out, and the album sounds like American Idiot. But worse.

The lyrics don't have the same kick either. I am so disapointed and I miss Green Day pre-American Idiot. American Idiot has to be my least favourite album of them all, other than 21st Century Breakdown.

I hope to god that Green Day haven't peaked yet; I'm not ready for them to be over!

Green Day

Green day were the first band i ever loved and i still do.
alot of people have been saying that there new album is slack, but i actually think its really good.
yer, there old stuff like nimrod, Insomniac where absolutly brilliant - but i think you have to realise you cant top the best.
American idiot was brilliant, and im sad there not able to make a movie out of it, BUT SERIOUSLY, A MUSICAL IS GONNA BE HARD. IT SOUNDS LIKE A FUCKING PISS TAKE! A MOVIE SOUNDS SOOO MUCH BETTER!
I wish that they'd do a movie.

but people need to stop putting all there hard work down.
