Yeah, I second that. I would love guitar lessons from John Petrucci or John Myung to play songs like Metropolis Part 1: The Mirical and the Sleeper and Fatal Tragedy Ect.

I would totally like a guitar lesson from Synyster Gates. His skills on the guitar is just unbelieveable. Just listen to A7X's first album, on the last 2 songs on that album synyster joined the band, and what a change he made! Im a big fan of his work.

I would love to learn from Marc and Denis from Caliban.

Why? Caliban because they are a sick band and my favourite and they are like amazing at what they do. And Denis can play the guitar while drunk. And Marc's solos are like amazing.

Thinking of that maybe Mick Deth as well cause Eighteen Visions song Dead Rose, the guitar solo is like WOW and it gives me shivers and it properly could give me an orgasm.

Um, I'd think I'd like Ray Toro of MyChem, Doyle Wolfgang [ex-Misfits] and Slash to do a super guitar teaching session. That would truly be awesome. Maybe Alice Cooper could stand there aswell, haha. That would be fan fucking amazing!

It would be killer to learn from John 5 or Mick Mars. I really love the way they treat their guitars like if it was their kid. I respect them for that. But learning from the genius of Mr. Michael Shawn "Clown" Crahan will always be my biggest dream.

Despite being underrated, I would take lessons from Dave Mustaine of Megadeth or Alex Skolnick of Testament because they are both very technically able and both have a 20+ year catalog of insane riffs and very well executed solos.

no... he isn't. you obviously know nothing about guitar playing. there are hundreds of guitar players out there that could play circles around him. just because he is in a very mainstream pop-metal band and can play to a good standard does not make him near the best.

It's hard to choose, but I'd say either Brent Hinds from Mastodon or Paul Mahon from The Answer. They're both great technical players and they'd probably give great tips.

Two words - LEE. MALIA!
I mean, come on! Have you not heard the guitars on 'Traitors Never Play Hangman', '[I Used To Make Out With] Medusa' and 'Chelsea Smile'?!?!?!?
Those guys are guitar heroes!
Or if you want to get all judgemental and say that BMTH aren't as good as other people, then go with Slash. He's a legend. More people know of him than they know of BMTH and....it's Slash. Who else is there?

Burning Question - Guitar Lessons.

Bullet For My Valentine are the best British metal band around right now hands down! They haven't done a single bad song, they all contain amazing guitar riffs which you can't help but love and they play equally well (if not better) live than on their actual records.
A guitar lesson from Matt Tuck and Michael Padget would be the best, they would teach a lot of people a lot of things.

I'd say Dragonforce, because they are just purely amazing. Or then it might be too complicated for me and my very weak guitarskills. But I would love to be even a quarter as talented and amazing as they are.
Quinn Allman from The Used is a great guitarist too. And he is very nice too so I think he would be a fun and good teacher.

Iron maiden-because there bass lines are so complex and near impossible to learn from just tab and listening to the song due to the speed they are played at, and they are one of the best bands in the world and one of the most influential bands in metal, I think any guitarist, bassist or drummer could learn something from Steve,Adrian, Jannick and Nicko

LOL
guitar lesson from kirk hammet?
alright lets get this straight.
kirk hammet is amazing, he can sweep pick, he can solo EXTREMELY FAST. but hey lets face it there are so many more innotive and unique guitarist out there. matt bellamy. matt is one of the greatest guitarists alive he has been compared to van halen and hendrix because he is just as original as them.
if you wanna debate .

Getting guitar lessons from Ben Weinman would certainly be fun. Little more difficult but would be great to learn his off time riffs!

Guitar lessons from Robb Flynn! I reckon he would be easy to get on with, and patient and nice about everything whilst teaching you. Cos there are a lot of people in bands out there who would be cool to meet and learn from, but they'd probably get pissy after a while, and act like assholes.
