Kerrang!'s April Fools' Day gags

Today, in case you hadn't noticed, is April 1st. And, as part of our annual dose of interweb tomfoolery, earlier today we reported that Gallows frontman Frank Carter is joining the cast of Eastenders as Bianca Jackson's cousin, Terry Branning, and that Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has signed his son, Bronx, to his Decaydance record label.

Both of these stories are in fact completely made-up. Apologies to the hundreds of you who e-mailed in.

On this day last year, we reported that Fall Out Boy had split up and that former Take That man Robbie Williams was the new vocalist of Velvet Revolver.
