Camden rocks is a brand new, K!-sponsored one-day festival which will take place in London on June 6.
The Wildhearts frontman Ginger and Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins are among the artists who've signed up to perform a solo show and DJ set respectively at the bash which focuses on the best of British talent.
"I'm really excited to play Camden Rocks," Ginger tells Kerrang!. "It's a great thing to showcase British talent. Help support independent music. I suggest that every single reader comes to Camden and get involved. I look forward to seeing your pretty little faces."
Lostprophets vocalist Ian Watkins will be showcasing his DJing talents as his deck-bothering alter-ego L'Amour La Morgue.
"It all started when I was getting asked to do a lot of DJ gigs," explains Watkins. "I thought rather than just turn up with an iPod like most people do, I'd actually do it properly. The problem then, was when I was beat matching electro and house tracks, I'd get someone shouting over the decks asking for rock, because they came to see the guy from Lostprophets.
"Download the mixtape from www.myspace.com/lamourlamorgue," he adds. "That will do a much better job of explaining what people can expect from a LALM DJ set, than anything written here!"
Also confirmed are The Black Spiders, Glamour Of The Kill, Templeton Pek, Carl BarÉt, Mills, Tyla And The Dogs and Ipso Facto.
The one-day festival - which takes place at The Prince Of Wales, The Monarch, The Barfly and The Underworld - will also raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Tickets are priced at £20 and are on sale from www.camdenrocksfestival.com.
