Wacken Open Air festival will be taking place in Germany this summer from July 30 through to August 1.
Confirmed performers so far include Airbourne, Bullet For My Valentine, Amon Amarth, In Flames, Dragonforce, Machine Head, Testament and Turisas among others.
The festival is now sold out - but organisers have joined forces with Washburn guitars to invite fans to enter a contest to win tickets to the event!
Fans just need to record a riff on a Washburn guitar - that is no longer than 35 seconds - and submit the video to www.riffcontest.com.
First prize winner will get a Washburn USA Custom Shop WM526B, two VIP Tickets to Wacken Open Air 2009 and will get to play their riff live on stage!
Two runners up will get Washburn guitars.
