Ex-Static-X guitarist jailed again

Former Dope, Static-X and Murderdolls guitarist Tripp Eisen has been locked up again for an undisclosed parole violation.

Forty-three-year-old Eisen - whose real name is Tod Rex Salvador - was released from custody on April 17, 2007 after serving a jail term in California State Prison for having sexual intercourse with an underage girl and the kidnapping and sexual assault of another underage girl.

Eisen was originally arrested on February 10, 2005 on a felony charge in Orange County, California for having sex with a minor. He was released on bail and rearrested two weeks later by New Jersey detectives who were investigating the sexual assault and kidnapping of a 14-year-old girl from Sayreville, New Jersey. New Jersey State Police told Kerrang! in issue 1047: “He’d gone around passing himself off as a lookalike of Tripp Eisen, even though he is Tripp Eisen.”

The musician allegedly met the New Jersey girl through the website www.findafreek.com and assaulted her in a car park of a shopping centre in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Eisen will be released on October 19.
