Architects have completed work on their video for brand new track Early Grave.
The song comes from the band's forthcoming new album Hollow Crown which will be released on January 26 through Century Media Records.
The band recently chatted to Kerrang! about the making of the video, which was directed by Adam Powell (Bring Me The Horizon, Johnny Truant).
KERRANG!: Are you happy with how the video has turned out?
SAM CARTER (vocals): "Totally. It's really dark and looks amazing. We shot it in the studio where Top Gear is filmed, which was awesome because I actually got to see a boat car in real life!"
KERRANG!: What is the video about?
SAM CARTER (vocals): "The storyline basically revolves around a guy who is a bit of a fuck up. It's about making really bad choices and fucking your life up at every possible opportunity. The guy has bandages all over his face, and every day he puts a mask on in attempt to hide who he really is. Every day he puts a different mask on, but eventually he runs out of them and ends up taking the bandages off to reveal that he has no face at all. The way it's been done is really messed up, but at the same time it looks absolutely amazing."
KERRANG!: You mentioned that the clip was shot in the same studio that Top Gear is filmed in. Did you catch a glimpse of any of the cast?
SAM CARTER (vocals):"Unfortunately there was no sign of any of the cast. It would have made my week to bump into Jeremy Clarkson!"
