NICKELBACK, GOTTA BE SOMEBODY
Well if you were nobody it wouldn’t be any fun, would it? Could also be called gotta be rocking, gotta be catchy, or gotta be beardy.

WILLIAM CONTROL, BEAUTIFUL LOSER
Mr Francis shows us his (other) dark side, invoking the spirit of 80s electro pop in all its arse-twitching glory and giving it a damn good workout!

MUSE, FURY
Recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Devon boys breathe new into life into this minor classic.

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, THIS IS ABSOLUTION
The kings of Massachusetts once again prove that when it comes to combining melody and muscle, there ain’t anyone even in the same league as them.

GUNS ‘N ROSES, CHINESE DEMOCRACY
Well, it only took two hundred and thirty-seven fuckin’ years to arrive but lo and behold, G’ N’ Fuckin’ R’ are fuckin’ back! Sort of!

POISON THE WELL, PURPLE SABBATH
So it ain’t black, but that doesn’t mean it can’t rock you stupid, stupid. The Florida boys get slow and dirty with this clobbering tune.

DOWN, BURY ME IN SMOKE
As things to be buried in, we can think of worse – especially if we’re listening to this seething nugget of southern fried metal at the time!

SLIPKNOT, DEAD MEMORIES
Proving themselves to be the moody bastards they so obviously are, Dead Memories is equal parts creeping hostility, metallic bludgeon, and walloping melodies. Get in.

Thank you

Glad to see Muse back on here again.
Especially with a song recorded for such a good cause.
