Congratulations.

Anyway, this is pretty cool but I can't be fucked to buy any of them :P

It's funny how the majority of Kerrang.com goers do not give a shit about this...

Bass?

yeah dude i know what you mean, the bass is inaudible and i think the drums also sound a bit flat, other then that it absolutely kicks arse.

Oh and most rock stars aren't in it for the money??
HA

You're just following the bandwagon, and you obviously haven't heard Death Magnetic, because it's a return back to form for Metallica.

Question

IF metallica are sell outs answer me this.

Why is both the Metclub AND the Summer Sanitarium tours run as a loss?
Therefore costing them money to give the fans what they want?

In Kirk's own words - "Sold Out? Sure we've sold out, last tour we sold out almost everywhere we played"

Fans want an honest, down 2 earth band. Not a group hu make up NE old shit 2 get money and then act like they're usin the cash 2 "give the fans wot they want". Is it not obvious?!?1

I'll be honest. I can't understand a word of that :|
If i'm honest...not sure I can find an actual word in there.
and..faggot? Well yes I AM gay, but I fail to see what this has to do with it. Other than the fact that if you add it to 'yourmum' being your name, you really are a truly origional and witty individual.

Ok...so. Maybe some people want a down to earth band?
Me? I want a band to be Rock STARS.
I want a Nikki Sixx. An Alice Cooper.

At the end of the day, yes theyve never made anythign better than the Kill Em All to Justice years. BUT. How could they? A lot of those songs were partially written by Dave Mustaine. Cliff Burton was in the band.
Clearly Metallica aren't the band they used to be. But then I can't think of many bands who are. Or ever will be.

Chill Out,
Whatever your opinions are it doesnt matter,
Metallica are still a band,
Sell Outs Or Not,
Get over It...

But they are a great band, Legends in fact.

jesus, i really thought they could do it this time. but i was not impressed with the new album. some of that old raw and chunky riffs creeped into some of the songs, but nothing really tickled my fancy, it was flat dull. well there you go.
cliff was the man!!!!!

sellouts?

I love how people start calling metallica sellouts because they grew up. You cant play the same old shit all your life so metallica had to evolve. They went down a relatively commercial path in doing so but then again if someone offered you a better job wouldn't you take it? Also, im my opinion, Metallica didn't reach their creative peak until Black album, everything before was excellent but Black album was the best sounding album they had ever produced BY FAR
