Green Day man joins forces with Converse

GREEN DAY frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has joined forces with shoe-giant Converse to produce a special signature shoe.

10% of the net wholesale price of the red and black trainers, named Ruthless, will be paid to The Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Click here for details.

Admittedly it's for 'a cause' but they could just donate a percentage of ticket sales on their next tour. I wonder what percentage Green Day get on the shoe sales......

MyChem HAVE Released A New Live Album That Rocks Everyone's Socks. I Have The A7X Album And Admittedly It Is Good. But Personally I Feel That The Live Album from MCR Was Much Better.

thats just a live album. a live album that i ended up seeing thanks to my friend who is obessed. Gerard cant sing live, he just cant, it sounded like crap on the record, and worse live.

I can't say I am not surprised but was getting involved with a commercial establishment like Converse...the only way to support this charity? I don't know... I supose if it meets the needs then good for them.

They were working on a new album for ages and and i dont think they've done it for publisity cause i know billie does loads to help so many charities like he went and built houses after hurricane catrina, GO GREEN DAY!!!
