Eagles Of Death Metal get Heart On

Eagles Of Death Metal are set to release their third album, Heart On, on January 26.

The band - featuring Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and Jesse 'The Devil' Hughes - will release Wanna Be In LA one week earlier, through Downtown Recordings/Cooperative Music.

agreed

Their first 2 albums sucked huge amounts of gonad. They should also be sued for false advertising with their name.

The Eagles of Death Metal are way better than most of the tosh that gets posted about on this site. Its rock n roll that's entertaining and that'll get you dancing as much as it does rockin' out. It'll never make album of the year but so long as you don't look upon it too seriously you'll enjoy it.

And false advertising with their name? Please. Get a humour injection or something.

You see, I've downloaded their previous 2 albums, listened to them and kept none of the songs. I personally could not find a single redeeming feature on either of the albums. I don't take it seriously at all, but I, personally, think it's utter drivel.

And as for the name, if you took that comment seriously, it's not me that needs the humour injection...

good point peter. but i can confirm the new album is a real let down...just 1 decent tune, the last one, sounds like they wanna sell millions of records. its dull and theyve lost their magic.

I'll check it out when it comes out. Will have to see. Didn't enjoy the first record too much but the second one was pretty good.

As a fan of The Eagles, I too find their name offensive.
