Down - the New Orleans supergroup featuring members of Pantera, Corrosion Of Conformity and Crowbar - will start work on the follow-up to 2007’s Down III: Over The Under late next year.
"(Down) is gonna keep rolling," bassist Rex Brown told Billboard. "We're not getting any younger, and this is what we're kicking ass at. All that other stuff people were doing kind of cleansed itself out. There's no reason to take time off anymore. This is a band we can grow old in together, which is really cool."
"We’re writing constantly on the road. We still have all these ideas, and we play a lot of new stuff at sound check, just to feel it out. Hopefully we can get back in the studio in the fall and work on something."
