Descendents founding member passes away

DESCENDENTS founding member Frank Navetta passed away on October 31 after a short bout of illness.

Navetta founded the punk quartet in 1979 with bassist Tony Lombardo and drummer Bill Stevenson and appears on the classic 1982 album, Milo Goes To College. He left three years later to become a fisherman.

“This is obviously a huge loss for the Descendents family,” says a band statement. “His contribution to the band cannot be overstated. Frank will be truly missed.”
