Deftones bassist "expected to recover"

Deftones bassist Chi Cheng is showing signs of making a recovery after a recent car accident left him in a coma.

"The critical 72 hours has passed and [Chi's] condition is stable," reads a blog posting from frontman Chino Moreno. "His doc is expecting a recovery but want to continue to sedate him and keep him quiet; he was trying to fight even in his coma.

"His mother and son have asked that we pass this information on as well...

"In the past when Chi was not on tour, he would gather a few instruments together once a week and meet the homeless kids in the park to play music with them. Today we ask you to give a homeless person a blanket, some warm clothes or some food. If you don't see a homeless person, reach out to a child near or far, and show some kindness to them. Keep sending your good thoughts and prayers; they are keeping him with us and he is improving daily."

And Patrick,, ohh fuk yes when you mention tax increase it sends chills up the American spines! Not that taxes are bad, our taxes did help the French keep there lanuage instead of having to learn Gremen but that aside were fearful the ridiculous Canadian tax cancer may one day spread south..

I think if the French had to learn German the world may have been a better place. Churchill had the right idea, liberate Europe by going up from Italy, and let the French suffer longer - might have tought them some humility - or at least killed a few more million of them.

But as for Canadian tax schemes spreading? I'd sooner have the peso as the US currency..... :D
