Killswitch member's new project

Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and ex-KSE vocalist Jesse Leach are currently recording material for new project Times of Grace.

Writing on Leach’s Myspace page, the pair describe the new songs as “an epic mix of Metal/Rock/Pop/Shoe gaze & Punk. All of your metal expectations will be incorrect, we are pushing genre boundaries”.

Both metallers are having a go at vocals, with melodic harmonies alongside “the most brutal screams I think I have ever done, I was literally shaking as they came out of my stomach”, says Leach.

A tentative release date for the finished material is Summer 2009, with the promise of a Myspace teaser “in the coming months”.

Times of Grace is one of several KSE-related projects currently on the boil. Overcast (featuring Killswitch bassist Mike D’Antonio, one-time guitarist Pete Cortese and Shadows Fall vocalist Brian Fair) recently released their first album in 10 years, Reborn To Kill Again through Metal Blade Records.
