The Dillinger Escape Plan have started work on the follow-up to 2007's Ire Works.
In a blog on their official MySpace page, the band write:
"Ben Weinman has been holed up like a mad scientist blasting out the furious Dillinger Escape Plan insanity that will eventually find it's way onto our next release. When Ben says that the stuff he's been writing has actually been giving him a headache, you know it's gonna be pretty intense!"
The as-yet-untitled record will be released through Relapse next year.
