Slipknot's new album, All Hope Is Gone, debuted at number 2 in the British album charts. The band's fourth studio album, was held off the top by indie bores The Verve.
Kid Rock's latest album, Rock N Roll Jesus, fell six places form number 6 to number 12, DragonForce debuted at number 18 with Ultra Beatdown, Nickelback fall 8 places from number 12 to number 20 with All The Right Reasons and dance rockers Pendulum are still hanging in there at number 38 with a re-entry of their 2005 debut album Hold Your Colour.
On the singles front, Biffy Clyro are at number 5 with Mountains, Kid Rock's at number 6 with All Summer Long, The Automatic are at 17 with Steve McQueen, Metallica are at 19 with The Day That Never Comes and Nickelback's Rockstar is still in the bloody charts at number 33.
