Slipknot add third London date

Slipknot, who crashed into the UK album charts at number two this week with their fourth album, All Hope Is Gone, have added a third London headline date to their December tour with Machine Head and Children Of Bodom.

The full list of shows is now as follows:

why didnt they just play a bigger venue, three dates seems a bit extreme when there are tickets for all the shows at hammersmith on ticketmaster now. they could've played the O2 or Earls Court the rate their going.

Bigger venue = paying good (and lots of) money to stand a mile away, straining to see or hear your favourite band(s).

Well done Slipknot for acknowledging that people actually want to *see* them, and not just be vaguely in the same place as them.

well hardly news is it? they already printed the 3 dates in London on their tour t-shirts!! which were on sale a couple of weeks ago!

seriously. there was absolutely no point in even mentioning the fact that they added an extra date. it happened ages ago and those tickets went so fast, i actually wasnt suprised. I got 2 for the second date cos all the standing for december 1 went within 2 hours. The third date went even quicker.

still i get to go,which is cool. thats gunna be an amazing gig =]
