Muse are one of the very few mainstream bands who get the freedom to experiment and still appeal to a large amount of people. Hence their popularity.
If you don't like them fair enough but they're NOT shit.
Also, I've seen all three of those bands like and NONE OF THEM were as good as Muse's live show.

Sad thing :( but anyway I think that I'll be very happy when they finally release their next album. Muse is amazing band and I love their whole material because they have something personal in their style. And yes, they are fantastic live act too. I shouted my voice off when I was in their gig at Helsinki last October. Best rockshow I have ever seen.

As a massive Muse fan, this is disappointing. But they deserve a long break.

Some people seem to forget that their Wembley Stadium shows were voted greatest concert EVER!!!!!!

I really hope that the album isn't THAT long away. I want to get it ASAP, and then go to one of the dates on the tour. Being to one concert only, which was Iron Maiden at Twickenham, I believe that this is the only band that could match it. Please Please don't take too long!

ok to the muse haters...you can sit there and type all the shit you want...it still isnt going to put the band and its fans down....
you can sit and listen to load of racket (which occasionally is good) ohhh and the fucks and shits in the lyrics...but the the thing about muse is there is origionality in their music....they work so hard to put a meaningful album out there and the reason they are so popular is because they suceed in that so gloat all you want about bands like enter shikari and lost prophets but i dont really see them packing wembley stadium anytime soon.....muse reach and brake boundries every album they have released and that is a true band...reaching out to their fans and showing them that a true band works their fucking hardest to put something out there!

You were looking for it and then got pissed off with the band because they arn't releasing anything new, so you went on a rant didn't you? I for one have only just started listening to Muse and I love them. I hate to admit it but I thought they were shit before but I hadn't heard any of their stuff before, then I heard Super Massive Black Hole on Twilight and I thought wow they actually don't suck they're great. Do you think that Stephenie Meyer, who used Muse as litterally her muse for a whole quartet of books, would have gotten any inspiratation if they were shit. No. I didn't think so.
